My Top 5 Favorite Apps

There are just some apps that I cannot live without… Ok, a little too dramatic, but seriously, these apps have really helped with my productivity and more!

apps

Here’s the list of my current top 5:

  • Upad (iPad, $4.99) – “Equipped with the best handwrite drawing engine in the world, UPAD will surprise you when you start to write on it with a stylus pen or your finger – because it brings a feeling very close to writing on an actual paper!” – Yes, it’s true – writing on this app is great!  I absolutely love this app.  I use it for work, sketching, planning and more!  The best part is that I always have my “notebooks/sketchbooks” with me and if I need to look for something, it’s super easy to find.
  • Reeder (iPhone – $2.99, iPad – $4.99) – By far, one of the best feed reader that I’ve used.  It syncs with your google reader and gives you a beautiful and easy to read display.  Also allows you to export the content via email, twitter, instapaper and more.
  • Flipboard (iPad – free)  - ”A fast, beautiful way to flip through the news, photos, videos, and updates your friends are sharing on Facebook, Twitter, Google Reader, Flickr, and Instagram.”  So easy to use…  it’s also free.   I mainly use this for facebook and twitter updates.
  • Instagram (iPhone – free) – “It’s a free, fun, and simple way to make and share gorgeous photos on your iPhone. Pick from one of several gorgeous filtered effects or tilt-shift blur to breathe a new life into your mobile photos.”  If you follow me on twitter (@joycharde), you’ll see millions of instagram tweets!  I’m addicted!  If you instagram too, let’s connect!  I’m @CreativeMamma.
  • Kindle (iPhone, iPad – free) – “The Kindle app is optimized for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch, giving users the ability to read Kindle books on a beautiful, easy-to-use interface. You’ll have access to over 950,000* books in the Kindle Store, including best sellers and new releases.”  I’ve been purchasing many of my books on Amazon and have really enjoyed reading the books on the kindle app.  I love that you can take notes and make highlights and it automatically saves the information for you to view at a later time.  I’m tempted to not buy any more books unless they are available on the kindle.
