Nothing reminds me of the holidays better than a nice hot mug of caramel apple cider! Being a California girl at heart (I’m currently residing in NY), I can’t say that I look forward to winter in the freezing cold New York.
Fortunately, my husband introduced me to the Starbucks caramel apple cider – my winters have not been the same since! Unfortunately, this heavenly drink costs so much, that I can’t justify going there everyday to have some. So my husband decided that we make our own…
Here’s our version (which has to be quick because I’m super impatient):
- Ingredients: apple cider, whipped cream and caramel syrup
- Process: pour apple cider into a microwave safe mug, heat for about 2 minutes, add whipped cream and drizzle caramel syrup on top
- Drink while hot, finish, and repeat (as many times as you want)
I’m sure there are other (maybe better) versions out there, but this one works the best for me…
