I’m always on the look out for easy tools to make my life easier.  I’m on the computer a lot with work and etc.  Sometimes I have to capture different pictures, ideas, treasuries (etsy peeps know what I’m talking about) or blog features on the web that I don’t want to forget.  I needed a tool that can easily allow me to snap a screenshot and let me save the photo on my computer.   Also, sometimes, I need to do a quick fix on my etsy listing photos and I don’t want to have to open up photoshop.  Anyway, I’ve found two awesome tools that are just wonderful!  One is web based and the other is for mac users.

Pixlr – This tool has so many functions…

• Editor and Express gives you photoshop-like tools (fast and easy to use)
• Grabber – allows you to grab selections or the whole screen

Skitch – (for mac users) I love using this! Mainly to share funny pictures that I come across with my husband… Here’s the description from the web (they do a great job of explaining how it works)

• Snap a website

• Screenshot an application
• Quickly sketch an idea
• Annotate with circles and gorgeous arrows
• Add text that always stands out
• Scribble and jot… it’s automatically smoothed
