We are huge book fans in my family, and that is why I am so glad to have come across the  Little One Books company.  Little One Books has an amazing selection of books, cd’s, and videos for children!  I was very excited when I received my package from them containing a couple of great books and a cd. Here’s what came in the mail:

• My Very First Book of Colors by Eric Carle – “The beloved Eric Carle offers colorful puzzles that help the youngest children learn about colors and shapes.”  My little guy loves flipping through this book and it has really helped him with recognizing his colors.
• Dreamland by Putumayo World Music – “This recording includes 13 beautiful calming songs from around the world. Many are sung in native languages and use a variety of instruments, including guitar, bells, saxophone, piano, sanshin, synthesizers, and hand percussion instruments.”  I love the lullabies in this collection!  Plus, it exposes the munchkin to music from other cultures.
• The Potty Book for Boys by Alyssa Satin Capucilli – “This book is an excellent resource for any parent going through the process of potty training their little boy. It contains cute illustrations and offers encouragement to your child about the sometimes difficult process of potty training.”  We’re going to be starting this process soon, so I’m excited to use this book for my little guy!

A little bit about Little One Books:
